Meet Our Instructors
Jes Ann Nail has been dancing since the young age of 3. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Gymnastics is where she started as a dancer but later in high school she focused on gymnastics and competitive cheerleading. Growing up in Texas she naturally learned how to Two Step and can remember being a little girl and dancing Swing with her Gamma! In college she started taking Yoga, Modern, and, Hip Hop classes which eventually lead her to more partner dances like Salsa! Jes was a Gymnastics coach for about 10 years before she stumbled upon a Ballroom teacher training program at Fred Astaire Dance Studios. After 5 years of teaching, traveling, and competing American Ballroom, Jes fell in love with West Coast Swing. Although she knows how to dance and teach over 25 different styles, WCS is her favorite. Jes travels all over the US and Europe to compete, train, teach and spread her love of West Coast Swing to the world.
Jes’s extensive dance training and business skills made it easy for her to open her own dance company (AiM Dance Co.) in 2012. Now, after teaching dance for over 9 years, she still enjoys working with beginners, wedding couples, and coaching advanced competitive dancers as well. She creates a fun learning environment for all of her students to enjoy their unique journey of learning how to dance.
